As such, the scar’s contours will be altered and are removed efficiently. Take note though, that dermabrasion is not going to work with ice-pick scars.
Deep scars would benefit greatly from collagen injection. This type of procedure intends to fill out and stretch the areas where the deep soft scars, keloids, and superficial scars are located. However, this procedure is not advisable for people with autoimmune diseases, as the collagen may produce negative effects on their body. The downside of this treatment is that it may not have lasting effects although the results can be very impressive. Collagen injection works for a maximum of 6 months.
